vol-un-tour-ism: travel which includes volunteering for a charitable cause. Participants are diverse but typically share a desire to “do something good” while also experiencing new places and challenges.

Join short-term volunteers from colleges across the nation in an effort to help improve communities in Cancun & Jamaica. Choose from a list of opportunities where help is greatly needed. You can work with local service programs to build, repair and paint schools, community buildings, medical buildings etc. You can work with enhancing children’s education or do landscaping and construction. There is no experience required. Your volunteer service will immerse you in the culture and give you a deeper appreciation of life in underdeveloped areas of the world. Volunteers will perform services that give back and make a difference to those countries.

• Teaching- Volunteering as a teacher is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people while learning the culture of the country. Teachers are needed for Reading, Math, Arts & Craft, Sports, IT, Counseling, Drama, and several other areas.
• Collect Gifts and distribute in schools, orphanages and children’s homes- You can collect gifts of clothes, books and school supplies and personally deliver these to schools or children’s homes. Seeing the smiles on the faces of the children, the aged, handicapped and the needy as they open their presents can be a very rewarding feeling.
